Your number will be deactivated.

Under the new usage terms, unpaid call usage is charged when you cancel, even during the trial or below $10 in your agreed billing currency. Calls already in progress and delayed provider totals can appear on a final usage invoice afterward. Balances below $0.50 in that currency are waived at cancellation. A payment failure does not keep your receptionist active. Existing customers retain their accepted billing terms.

Cancellation takes effect immediately after you confirm it in Stripe. We automatically deactivate your receptionist number when Stripe sends the cancellation confirmation, stopping new AI calls. A call already in progress may finish.

Turn off call forwarding with your phone carrier so missed calls return to your usual voicemail. After cancellation, your assigned number may be reassigned to another business immediately, once disconnection and ownership checks pass. Stop forwarding calls before canceling. You cannot keep or recover the same number by signing up again.

Stripe verifies your billing email to protect your account. Opening billing does not cancel anything until you confirm. Previous charges are not automatically refunded.
